When making changes to multiple products inside a project at the same time take advantage of the PIM's batch action functionality.
How Do I Perform A Batch Action on a project?
- Access the project by clicking projects from the left side navigation menu
- Select the project
- Select the products from the list of products in the project
- Click the Gear icon on the upper right of the page next to the Create Product button to display the list of available batch actions.
- Choose a Batch Action from the available list below
- Follow the prompts
- Confirm your batch process
What Are The Available Batch Actions for a Project?
- Set Status - Change the publication status to online (published) or offline (unpublished)
- Sync - Choose the channel and the sync type that should get triggered for the selected products
- Add/remove categories
- Add attribute set
- Add/remove tag
- Enable/disable channel
- Modify Product Name
- Modify Warranty Information
- Modify Description
- Update Product Weight And Dimensions - Updates the weight and dimensions on the shipping tab
- Delete product
- Export products
Sync Type Options Available
You can select the type of sync that you would like to trigger to update the selected products inside a project to the selected channel. The following sync types are available on the Sync Type drop-down list for the Sync batch action:
- Full Sync
